 Basic Guard Card Training. Powers of Arrest and Weapons of Mass Destruction (POA/WMD)
This course is an 8-hour training class. The State of California’s Bureau of Security and Investigative Services (BSIS) requires every Security Guard/Patrolperson to be licensed before being allowed to work as a Security Guard/Patrolperson.
The total fees for the training are $185.00 and the whole process is done at our Training Academy. Breakdown as follows:
- $63.00 for the course
- $51.00 for the fingerprint background investigation conducted by the FBI and DOJ
- $20.00 to have your fingerprints rolled (LiveScan)
- $51.00 to file on-line to BSIS for your Security Guard Card
Firearms Certification & Initial Qualification • Annual Re-Qualification
This course presents the current BSIS Firearms Qualification course mandated by state law before a licensed security guard can legally carry an exposed firearm.
This is a 14 hour course, including 8 hours of classroom instruction and 6 hours of range instruction/shooting qualifications, with emphasis placed on avoiding deadly force, current laws, BSIS requirements, shooting stance, grip, target alignment, sight picture, firearm maintenance, and reporting.
Location:All courses will be held at the All Phase Security, Inc. main office located at 2959 Promenade Way, Suite 200 in West Sacramento.Students will be given the location of, and directions to, the firing range at the end of the first day
Call for Cost. - Cost includes 100 rounds of 1 caliber of ammunition. Students wishing to be qualified to carry more than one caliber will need to provide or purchase 50 rounds of each additional caliber.
As a reminder, all licensed security guards who are issued an exposed carry permit are required by BSIS to qualify four (4) times during the current permit period, not less than four (4) months or more than six (6) months apart. Failure to complete this requirement may result in adverse action by BSIS.

Baton/Impact Weapon • Certification & Qualification
This course presents the current BSIS Baton Training course mandated by state law before a licensed security guard can legally carry an exposed baton.
This is an 8 hour course, including 4 hours of classroom instruction and 4 hours of physical skills instruction and demonstration utilizing a FIST © suit and actual impact weapons in a sustained resistance encounter. Emphasis is placed on weapons retention, avoidance of deadly force and reporting.

Chemical Agents (“OC/ Pepper Spray”) • Certification & Qualification
This course presents a current Chemical Agents Training course mandated by state law before a licensed security guard can legally carry chemical agents.
This is a 4 hour course, including 2 hours of classroom instruction and 2 hours of demonstration and practical application with a full exposure to an O.C. chemical agent, an arrest exercise while affected by the agent, and decontamination efforts.

Advanced Firearms Training
These courses present training beyond the BSIS standard firearms training. Instruction can be tailored to meet individual client/student needs. Course is a minimum of 16 hours of mixed classroom and live fire range instruction, with emphasis placed on avoiding deadly force, the use of cover and concealment, shooting on the move, transitioning weapons and equipment selection, maintenance of firearms, storage.
Firearm: Pistol-Semi Auto, Rifle- AR .223, M1A1 .308, Shotgun- 870, 1201P

Schedule: To Be Arranged, Target audience Ports, Courts, Pre-Academy, POST & CDCR
Prerequisites: A passing score of 80% must be fired before the student will be allowed to continue the course.
Equipment:Ammunition-Rifle 100rds • Pistol 100rds • Shotgun 5rds Slug • 10rds buckshot • 20rds birdshot.
• Eye/Ear Protection • Lunch/water due to the lack of services near the range • Pen/Pencil/paper • Cold weather gear • Duty Gear with Duty Weapon and 3 magazines • All weapons and equipment will be approved by instructors prior to use on the range.
First Aid & CPR with AED • (American Red Cross)
This course presents the current American Red Cross First Aid & CPR with AED Training Course. First Aid certification lasts for 3 years, and CPR/AED certification lasts for 1 year.This is an 8 hour course, including classroom instruction and practical exercises and demonstration.

BSIS Weapons of Mass Destruction
The course covers basic knowledge a protection professional needs to know in today's society.The WMD course is mandated education for all persons licensed as security guards with BSIS. The WMD course by itself is 4 hours in length.
