Training All Phase Security, Inc. is proud to announce its partnership with the International Federation of Protection Officers (IFPO). On June 1, 2006 the All Phase Security Training Academy entered into an exclusive licensing agreement with the IFPO, and received certification from IFPO. With this partnership we will enhance our curriculum, thus creating a benchmark in training on the West Coast for security personnel. The IFPO was established as a non-profit individual membership society in January 1988 for the purposes of promoting and encouraging continued education in the field of security by its members, by means of facilitating training through various venues and providing certification needs of protection professionals. The IFPO developed a number of comprehensive distance delivery courses; the Entry Level Protection Officer (ELPO), the Basic Protection Officer (BPO), the Certified Protection Officer (CPO) program, the Security Supervision and Management (SSMP) program, and the Certified in Security Supervision and Management (CSSM) program. Many corporations and institutions have adopted these programs and integrated them with their existing staff development process and training guidelines. The IFPO has been nationally accepted by the Canadian government as their baseline standards. The All Phase Security Training Academy’s mission, as an extension of that of the IFPO, is to promote and enhance the training, standards and professional standing of individual protection professionals in an effort to elevate the overall societal standing of the protection profession as a whole. The training academy will provide a wide variety of CD-ROM, web-based, and classroom instruction as well as other forms of interactive distance learning. Individual security courses, Homeland Defense courses, security career tracks and certified courseware are in development and will be made available to participating students. Training Academy Information Want a recession resistant job? Want Full/Part Time Work? Become a Security Guard/Patrolperson. Take the first step by taking the required Powers of Arrest and Weapons of Mass Destruction (POA/WMD) 8-hour training class. The State of California’s Bureau of Security and Investigative Services (BSIS) requires every Security Guard/Patrolperson to be licensed before being allowed to work as a Security Guard/Patrolperson. All Phase Security Training Academy offers the mandated BSIS Training you need to obtain your Security Guard/Patrolperson Card. All courses are taught by professional instructors who were former or retired Police Officers. We offer the required 8-hour training class every Tuesday and some Wednesdays in West Sacramento. After the completion of the training BSIS will take approximately 7 to 10 days to process your license application. Here at the All Phase Training Academy all the paperwork, fingerprinting, and Security Guard/Patrolperson application are completed here. You don’t have to take the class here, go to another location to take fingerprints, and then to BSIS to turn in your application like most other places have you do. Once you complete our training course you have nothing more to do to obtain your Security Guard card because we do it for you on-line. All Phase Training Academy also offers other training courses including AB2280, Firearms Instruction, OC/Baton, Handcuffing, and First Aid/CPR/AED.
